Today May 06/2018, on the unveiling Ceremony of the Foundation Stone of the Abdulkareem Center for Human Development ( ACHD), family members, friends and some courageous members of the district and zonal administrative cabinet were present. I am thrilled to see some of the closest friends of our family, people such as Gash Gucho Sode, Hussein Abbaa Murtii, and other local esteemed guests and elders present at the ceremony had a happy face and appeared to be engaged and excited to witness the good start!
It was not pre-planned and only 4-5 days preparation-was made to erect the stone and invite families and friends who came from Yabello & Taltalle where the extended family members of Warra Sheikh Amae still live.
They wanted the occasion and I said okay to that and it happened so fast. Where there is will, things happened and it happens fast. This is the project of the willing!
Of course as expected , yesterday, as I was working they asked me to write the writing that would be on this FD. I contributed. Today it is Unveiled! Happened so fast!
That is possible only because the Qeerroos are fired up and in action!
As you can see from the pictures in this posting, the majority of the attendees are young people and most are close family members and friends. But, among them as some courageous men like Galma Koropicha, the former administrator of Taltalle District, who, with the Qeerroos support played a pivotal role in allowing and facilitating, including talking to me multiple times. That my friend requires a lot of courage in that country! Kudos to brave son. People like him with some courage lead and do what is right should come to the helm of local and zonal administrations. He realizes, this project is for nobody, other than the local people of the district in whose name everything exists.
Thanks Molu, the current administrator for talking to me and my nephews Abdurahman Kasim, Mohammed Kassim, my brother Abdulatif Ame Elemo, Abdalla A Elemo, Abdurizak Said, Salim Said , Ahmed Peace, Roba Abdirkadir, Abanagaye A Roba, and my mother Jamila Ibrahim and all other family members for being there. Thanks Ali HajShefa for showing great interest in the project and advocating for it. We are family members and forever will be together.
Finally, much Kudos to the amazing Project Manager, Abdirizake Abdirkadir, and all the esteemed guests who came to show support
