Pet outlets should be prohibited from selling kittens and dogs by the us government in a crack down aimed at quitting pup farming.
Third party earnings of cats or dogs under 6 weeks old will probably be banned, which means customers will have to cope with the breeder or even a licensed rehoming centre.
The move, announced by the the Department of Environment Food and Rural Affairs (Defra), follows people appointment which saw 95 percent of the public supported because of this a ban.

Battersea Dogs and Cats Home’s chief executive, Claire Horton, explained:”Properly enforced, this can help set an end to canines being used as breeding machines and retained in surprising problems.
“The days of puppy dealers lining their pockets with no respect for animal welfare must finally come to a conclusion .”
The RSPCA’s deputy chief executive, Chris Wainwrightsaid”We feel that dividing down on unscrupulous dealers, that put profit ahead of animal welfare, could provide more comprehensive security for prospective owners along with critters.
“We have always said that an end to third-party sales independently would be insufficient to finish the puppy trade catastrophe and we are pleased that this is looked at along with improved licensing requirements because of breeders introduced earlier this past year.”
